Need extra light over your camper kitchen sink for when you do the dishes? Or perhaps you need to upgrade the dim, old lights in your horse trailer? This dome light has bright white LEDs that give you brighter light underneath a kitchen cabinet, in a walkway, by a workbench, or inside your enclosed trailer.
LEDs are more energy efficient, last longer, and burn brighter than lights with incandescent bulbs. You won't have to worry about replacing bulbs that have brittle filaments. And because LEDs draw minimal power, the light won't drain your battery or overload your circuits.
This surface-mount dome light is incredibly easy to install either as an upgrade or a direct replacement of your existing light. To access the bolt holes, snap the lenses off the housing. Then, using hardware (not included), bolt the housing onto the ceiling, wall, or cabinet before snapping the lens back on. The light has a 2-wire design that hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire). Once you're finished, you can then turn the light on and off using the integrated switch on the base.

Perfect replacement for our original compartment lights that got so hot they melted contents when inadvertently switched on when loading those contents. Easy to install and feeling much better about avoiding a possible fire. Always great products and service from eTrailer.
Surprised to learn from a Google search that the black/white wire should be connected to red on the light. Could have included an install sheet.
I replaced six incandescent fixtures with these. The foot print was a little different, but they fit into place well. You will need wire strippers, butt connectors and a crimping tool. Installation takes about five minutes. Since they are "just" lights, there is little to say about performance. Our RV is an older model and the original fixtures were beginning to yellow. The wife is happy, so [Thumbs up]
Installed on boat and is used to light the galley area. Like many sailboat galleys, the refrig. is built into the galley with access from the top; you need light to see down into it. This light does the trick. It's very bright, much brighter than the old CFL. The only thing that can go wrong with these things is probably the switch . . . it made it thru one season on the Chesapeake; we'll see how it goes.

Still going strong
These lights are great. we paired them up with the double lights, from the same manufacturer.
LEDs are definitely the way to go in a trailer. Nice and bright and they don't use much power.

Worked as expected, no problems.
Easy to install. Not as bright as the light it replaced which is what I wanted. It is located above the bed in my travel trailer.

Great.
Received the lights sooner than expected. I installed two lights in my trailer in about 45 minutes with no issues. New LED lights are much brighter and cleaner than the stock incandescent lights. I couldn’t be more pleased with the lights and service from etrailer. This is the 5th time I’ve dealt with etrailer and I have been satisfied every time. Keep up the good work!
Lights are a direct replacement for my old incandescent overhead lights and provide better light without the heat.
Worked great. The 4 center mount holes were the same as the ones I removed. I used the clear ones up high and the frosted one's on the bench lights. Makes the trailer a little brighter, but not to bright. Just right. Great energy savings. And low profile gives you more clearance. And the lens are removed with a little squeeze.

Finally, my battery lasts so much longer. We love these LED lights and have had them in our toyhauler for over a year now. I would recommend for anyone wanting a more efficient light.
Easy install, low current draw. I like the rounded edges. I'm using them in a slide in truck camper and it's nice not having the sharp corners in such a small space.
